I’ve been working with Benjamin from Optimal K9 since March and he has been incredible! I highly recommend him because he’s knowledgeable, communicative and patient. I started with in-home sessions for my Sheepadoodle puppy and then I transitioned to the boarding training. We got Ollie back today and I couldn’t believe how much his behavior has changed in a good way!! Now it’s up to me to make sure it stays that way but I know I can count on Benjamin to guide me in the right direction if I need help. I put all three of my dogs through their training and got to work with each one of the trainers. I cannot say enough good things about them and their company. I am a bit of a helicopter dog mom and would constantly ask for pictures and videos of my babies while they were away and never did they make me feel like I was bothering them. They’ve gone above and beyond in making sure that we are satisfied with the results. We sought out training because my two male dogs started fighting and being aggressive with each other and while there wasn’t availability immediately, Davion came to our house multiple times to teach us how to use the tools to keep both the boys and my family safe in the mean time until they could be boarded. De Anthony took the time to get to know Sheila and figure out what motivated her to learn and master her skills because she is NOT your typical dog. All in all, the experience was exceptional and we will definitely continue going to Optimal K9 for any and all of our dog training and boarding needs.

Optimal K9 has had such a positive impact on our dogs behavior and I cannot recommend them enough. Our black dog Bennie was very reactive to strangers and other animals, but now he either ignores them or will hush when told to. Our white dog Koda would just disregard any attempts to train and would just sit down and refuse to do anything. Optimal K9 helped us break that habit and get him to actually listen to basic commands. I will say that this training does require a lot of work. The trainers do not just come in and “fix” your dog for you. They will teach you and show you what you need to do as an owner to have better trained dogs but it is up to you as the owner to actually follow through and apply those lessons. This type of training isn’t for everyone but if you are serious about training your dogs, then encourage you to contact them and see what they can help you with!
